Been having a really tough year getting hay put up still not done with first cutting and really late getting annuals and corn in the ground. Corn has taken off finally, did a little experiment and drilled some forage soybeans with my BMR sudan it’s getting along nice. Here are some random pictures.
Looks beautiful there. We are struggling with the same issues for putting up hay. Some other local hay producers in the irrigated areas can't even get their first cutting off and would normally be going over their fields for the second time by now. Definitely going to hurt them this year. A dry week ahead here, we're going to try to cut down at least half our hay this week |
