Precious little. That is what you get when you have a supercharged tile system on a hillside. 0.66” DC. Extremely even. Hoping to pull off a crazy record yield, the Rx was a little high and there’s plenty of corn plants out there. For sure not been short on water this year, but the nighttime temps are creeping up a bit.
There’s a lot of corn 7-14 days behind it, and uneven but black green. Can still see NH3 tractor tracks and wet holes and such. That is still good corn, but I can’t imagine it will touch the last couple years. It will tassel slightly unevenly.
About half of our corn finally turned green late last week. Anywhere from knee high on down to 8”. Variable heights and I can’t imagine it will tassel anywhere close to even. Just talked with a neighbor agronomist last week and was reminded to be very cautious trying fungicide on such uneven corn.
I show a picture of great corn and a pic of de facto failed beans and all you comment on is the corn?
