Subject: RE: JD liquid rate control

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I'm not familiar with the Deere Rate controller. When I worked as a Tech I had a similar request using an Ag Leader setup. It appeared that the offsets for each boom could be set separately so I had hopes auto swath could shut off the front and then the rear at the proper spots. This was several years ago with an Insight which had a flaw in unusual screen deptictions.

The flaw was the screen depiction would not appear correctly when an inner boom was OFF and outer booms on both sides of it were still on. Since this rarely happened in actual field situations, it wasn't really much of a problem. It seems like I tried it on the bench but it didn't work the way I wanted. Maybe it would have worked correctly in the field but not shown correctly on the screen. I forget the details. This flaw was corrected with newer models so it might be fine with newer Ag Leader equipment.

Anyway that doesn't help you with your Deere system.
