Mid MO | Pie crust should be cool when you're working with it. That keeps the fat in the crust from melting and getting sticky. You can rub some flour on your hands to keep the crust from sticking to your fingers.
I use the pie crust recipe from Betty Crocker and use lard. Lard doesn't have to be refrigerated but should be air conditioned. Work quickly because your hands will warm up the dough. | |
