Have a tandem....think from time to time about getting a semi. Came across one that peaked my interest.

Its an 05 International 7600 SFA. Has a CAT C13 ACERT rated at 410HP@2100RPM and an Allison automatic. Not yet sure of rear end but its set up as 5th wheel and not a straight truck like I’ve seen some of them. 52k gvw so assuming 12k front 40k on rear. Everything else on it is as basic as it comes.

Low miles, appears to be in good shape all around. Would this make a good grain hauler? All fields close to home and great road and highway access to the elevators. Mostly flat.

If it “depends” on rear end, what ratio should it have?

If it depends on how much Im trying to haul....i dont know. Kinda learning at this point but would like to put a trailer on it that would let me haul max which I think is 76-80k in IL?

Also, any idea what it would be worth? Know alot of variables here but ballpark would sure help me.

Thanks for any info guys!
