Subject: RE: FFA declining?

Columbia City, Indiana
Here in my area FFA is pretty strong. I was asked to be a judge at district contest 3 years ago and was BLOWN AWAY at the number and caliber of kids competing. Very exciting to see.

At our local school we have started an FFA booster club and are planning our 3rd annual “Blue Jacket Bash” coming up in September. It’s an awesome night and brings in a lot of money for the chapter. I had the idea to sell t shirts that mention the fact that our school has Indiana’s oldest chapter.

My oldest daughter is a freshman and involved in Parli. Helping her practice now has me cringing whenever I’m in a meeting where Robert’s rules of order are butchered, which is all meetings lol.

Our school’s livestock judging team is a juggernaut, they’ve won the state championship something like ten years running. We’re very proud of that. Many of our kids have received full scholarships.
