SE Ohio | Hello, I have a NH664 belt baler that is making a chattering noise while baling once the bales get bigger than 38 inches or so. It only seems to do it when it is actually picking up hay. The noise gradually goes away if the bale is just turning in the baler but no more hay is coming in. I tried to have my wife bale while I walked along beside it to locate the cause but to no avail. I did notice that some of the pickup fingers have a wear spot on the back of them, about 2" from the end. The noise is definitely on the right side, and though it sounds like a pickup problem, the noise seems more centered about halfway up the right side of the baler. Thanks for any help I can get!! | |
