ESW ND | I'd say you have lots of options. We baled 40-50ish bushel oats that was swathed last year. Oats didn't fill the greatest so it was light, but dang those bales are heavy. So we have basically straw with lots of oats in them. Those cows clean it up.
Cut and bale it later. It will help take up any moisture that may be in the alfalfa. Will work as a good filler while eating the alfalfa. | |
