Carroll, OH | In theory all can be broadcast, but I would recommend harrowing or cultipacking to get some seed to soil contact. Grain drill is much preferred to get the best emergence.
Going to Wheat this fall I would look at Crimson Clover/Red Clover or almost any economical plowdown mix. Another option is Sunn Hemp, which may do a better job of shading out/ out competing weeds. Could be lots of top growth though.. | |
