Subject: RE: Northern corn belt vs central corn belt mentality

SW Minnesota
Over the years of wetness I have had the privilege of replanting plenty of 20-30 acre areas that flooded out in May. Pushed it as late as June 15th, some small pot holes as late as June 20th. On the larger areas where you actually combine more then a blip on the map it has always made it the last ten years, even had a June 5th replant farm run upper 190s. And that was about a 50/50 original stand/replant. I’m not saying it’ll make it this year, but it was worth the risk on the last 160 acres, that corn is V2 today. I can deal with 15-20,000 of 40/40 corn if I have to. If none of it makes it, while then fall was gonna suck no matter what.
