You and Brad definitely have the right idea way more money in the processed goods than growing wholesale popcorn. As far as the Nebraska yield I would guess that was under irrigation my wife's uncle grows some under a pivot around the forest city il area gets similar yields. I'm all dryland here well most years lol and our best yield was 6500# in 2014.
