NW Central Ohio | If you would share what kind of planting you're doing (and what kind of planter and closer system) it would be a whole lot easier to make a recommendation. No-till has it's own set of challenges with getting starter where it belongs...but conventional till is relatively easy. I'm running a 1250 Case/IH with furrow points that have a tube through them to put 4.5 gallon of 10-34--0 underneath the seed. Then I have another nozzle mounted behind the closing wheel that injects 12 gallon of a 10-34-0, 28-0-0 mix. I have my seed surrounded...and it seems to work in both no-till and conventional. | |
