If you decide to purchase DJI Mavic consider the Mavic 2 Pro. (latest model) Since DJI products are price protected the price should be the same if coming from an authorized dealer. (also by purchasing from a authorized dealer your warranty is valid). Also for add on, consider the DJI Mavic 2 Fly More Kit, it gives you 2 additional batteries, case and charger accessories. When purchasing the Mavic the biggest decision is witch controller will you purchase, original controller or the smart controller (about a $400 difference). If you intend to use 3rd apps (mostly ag software) you will need to use your phone or tablet to control the Mavic, the orginal controller is your best choice, otherwise the smart controller has a sunlight readable screen

Then it comes down what do you want to do with it. If you want to collect additional information with the Mavic, you may want to consider adding NIR sensor to the Mavic. ( https://sentera.com/ )

Then consider how you are going to process the data you are collecting. Many options are at your disposal (such as Drone Deploy, Sentera, and many more).

Finally decide how much support you will need once you get the machine. No support look at Amazon (or directly from DJI), some support a online dealer or a lot of support a local dealer.

I have been flying one for several months....really a nice quad-copter to fly, you won't regret it.
