Subject: RE: Prevent Plant plan

Southern MN
I kind of find it funny everyone talking about their PP plans. We were doing the same thing a year ago but it stayed so wet very little of the cover crops got planted. USDA waived the need for a cover crop in our county because most of the PP acres were never dry enough to plant. We hired the coop to spread ours on a day that was forecasted to be clear. They got half of them on a rain storm came out of no where giving us from 1 - 3 inches in a half hour. Shoveled the oats into a wagon off of the coops floater. I guess now we have some oats for this years PP.
