Northwest Illinois | New to me as well without a solid plan here. First time ever that fields haven’t been planted let alone 1/3 of the acreage. Ground hasn’t been fit since last June here. Like to hear others plans. A long ways from drying out, but thinking soybeans for my cover after some tiling in different areas. Going full conventional tillage on PP acres for 2020. Plant soybeans whenever it’s fit and chisel before harvest. All will be corn and be 2-3 years before beans. Not sure why anyone is worried about disease carry over at this point when doing any work in the field at all is main concern. | |
