I personally am afraid of cover crops ahead of corn that doesn’t winter kill. So are you planting beans where you prevented planted corn? Stick with normal 50/50 rotation? If so doesn’t sound like bad idea.
One farm I will plant in 2020 what I planned for 2019. Long story as to why. So the field that is corn stalks I might see about buying some wheat too.
