I remember back in the '70s - '80s wasn't that unusual to spray 2-4D after beans were planted & before they had emerged so I wouldn't give up on the planted 30 ac just yet. Like others said, might look into enlist beans as to how the 24D might affect germ on them. One thing for sure, the custom applicator needs to have some financial responsibility.
