South cental Ohio | It's been so wet this year that I couldn't get my grass hay baled and now I have a field of over-ripe grass hay. Mostly fescue. Weather still isn't cooperating but when it does, what would be the best thing to do with this hay? Wrap it and make haylage or just try and dry bale it- saving the cost and labor of wrapping? I'd give it away if somebody needed it LOL. I'm hoping to get a nice second cutting of grass that I can square bale and sell...… not looking good. | |
