We just try for 2 complete wraps, maybe a touch more on sudan/bulky type hay. We don't haul our very far but do carryover a lot of hay. we run JD cover edge, mainly because we've never had any trouble and 2 wraps makes a roll last a really long time. I think we started the year with new roll and have done about 140 bales so far. (568 deere)
