Currently I just have an AA bar. What I like to do is use AA and a little AMS and Urea pre plant then have Urea or 28 top dressed or streamed late. This year wasn’t able to get much WA pre so am sidedressing most of that. Which is ok... untill it stays wet and gets too tall.
Myself and 2 other family/friends that we all somewhat work together on spraying have been tossing around the idea of a SP sprayer for drops. Would be a low budget setup since we have 2 cheap PT sprayers already that is pretty good (90’ 1600 gallon and 60’ 1000 gallon PT’s)
All 3 of us have 24 row planters, so would be nice and easy to follow planter rows with 60’ drop tubes off SP sprayer.
I think I’m going to keep my eyes open for a 23 knife liquid bar for now... |
Anyone doing pre plant N, then 2 pass Drop tube/Y Drop app post?
