Don't know if you are into biking but Sparta, off I-90, has a bike trail. Parts of the trail are closed due to last year's flooding so but the 11 mile stretch from Sparta to Norwalk is open. The tunnels are neat. https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/parks/name/elroysparta/pdfs/TrailClosure201...
