| When I did custom work on a serious basis, I charged just slightly more than my cost, maybe 5-10%.
Today I turn down most custom jobs but the ones I do I try to discourage baling anything but dry easy baling hay. So I set my price at about $1.20 and it should probably be more. My theory is that if the acid is on I’m probably going to plug the baler more and thus want paid for the headache.
