Western illinois | I had a similar experience at Menards a few years ago. After the third time the cashier ran my check through, it had something to the effect of “in the interest of your security, your check has been denied” printed on the back of it. Nobody at Menards could explain it. I had to use my credit card to make the purchase. I asked my bank about it and they had no knowledge of the check verification company or the reason it was denied. | |
