However, I would think cull cow would take better than groundhog.

Desperation isn't the thing. After all, milk is cheap and tastes good. Adventure is where it's at.

I do have a lame cull cow running around in a back pasture. Never having butchered something of that size, I'm reluctant to start with a cow in the heat of summer.

Around lunch time, I'll whack this thing up into chunks and see what I can come up with.
