He's in three gallons of water with about a half cup of salt, in the refrigerator.
I don't have confidence in my butchering job, and I may have missed some scent glands. With that in mind, what's a cheap way of cooking the thing, so that if it really tastes terrible, I won't feel bad handing it over to the dog? Crockpot and possibly a pressure cooker are available.
