I've checked into this very idea week ago. Insurance is fine with soybean cover crop as long as it's destroyed. Then I couldn't get an answer about using bin run seed to use. I finally called pro harvest and asked them beings the ones I still have are theirs. I got an absolutely no you can't plant them because of the tech agreement. Told me that it was because of the ability to spray them.
OK...how about soybeans for cover crop in NE IL
