| I have a 1760 12 row. Running Auto steer with SF1 planting corn... 95% of the time it is with hardly any noticeable guess row. However every now and then it will throw a narrow row instead of a 30 inch it may throw a 18-20 inch row from end to end of field it never starts at a 30 and narrows and it never in 4 years has thrown a wide row. I have always considered this signal drift and just accepted it. This year I used an SF 2 grace period and still had the issue only on a lesser scale. A lot of guys in my area are running SF 1 and get along just fine here I seem to be the only one throwing a narrow row. All updates are current.
My question is
1. Is there anything I can do to combat this issue?
2. Why does it always throw a narrow row and never a wide one
3. Has anyone else ever seen this? | |
