Subject: RE: getting cereal rye down

Just outside downtown Prairie Hill
I would like to have it down for several reasons. We would have more shading for moisture retention (working really well now) and weed control. We sometimes have some tall enough and mature enough in the fall to get some rye in the soybean sample. Dead standing rye is really ugly...not a good reason but??
