Subject: getting cereal rye down

Just outside downtown Prairie Hill
We finished planting beans a couple of days ago. We have been no tilling in standing rye for several years and like that system. However, most of the rye is still standing. Our normal plan is to let it die and fall down. It takes until harvest to fall down. Any thoughts on how to get it down? It is raining now and probably will continue for a few days. Beans will be up (I hope) by the time we can get back on the ground. I have seen smooth rollers in pics, but never seen one in our country. Thoughts??
