East Central Saskatchewan | Cut length depends mostly on hay type. Good hay should not be needed to be cut as fine as poorer or older stuff. Best is to mix a poorer and good quality bale together. For me, feeding on the ground when chopped up, it is to easy to spread out and waste, best is to feed in bunks, it only gets worse if its wet. I looked at the Tomahawk machine, but biggest issue for me was no dealers around me, and it only fit 5x5 bales max and I run mostly 5x6 so it wouldn't work for me. |
