Do it every two days on a 2000 gallon dairy bulk tank. Climb in with a scrub brush, bucket of soapy water, and a hot water hose. Takes 10 minutes. The hot water is worse than the soap, in my case. I'm guessing air temperature in there is approaching the 180 F range for the last two minutes of occupancy. I would not go in the tank with chlorine.
