South Central MN
I've noticed mine settles back a couple inches when letting off the hydraulic lever, just figured it was the tractor hydraulic system doing that. (Pulling planter with an IH 6588, not exactly a new tractor and the hydraulic system is sluggish when cold.) I however have not noticed mine having a "hump" in the middle, but might be harder to tell as I have liquid fertilizer tanks on mine.

As for the settling it might be the way the lift system is plumbed, somehow blew a hose putting it in transport last weekend, the one that blew went from the top port on the RH wing wheel cylinder to the bottom port of the LH wing wheel cylinder, hadn't looked at it closely before to see how that was hooked together but not how I thought it was. (Or was it the top RH port to bottom LH port... can't remember without looking at it.)
