| If the tails on the knows are about an inch long, I would start looking at the twine fingers. Worn twine fingers cause all sorts of random problems. Also those problems can change depending on crop type due to material stick through the needle slots on top of the bale case differently.
How many bales on the baker and have you ever changed the linkage on the twine fingers? Also does it have original twine fingers on it? If so make sure none are binding on the bushings. Random knotter issues often appear when a twine finger is delayed from worn linkage or a binding finger. | |
