One thing to keep en eye on is your sections when it “blips”

I had a bad wire on a boom section valve that made the valve flutter. Now it was pretty fast, but eventually I noticed the green section number wink once in a while when the rate bounced. The controller was reading that as a section switch opening and closing rapidly, and was attempting to compensate for that.

This break in the wire was just a few inches from the plug for the section valve, where there was a bit of wire exposed outside the loom. The insulation had been cracked and some fertilizer from side dressing had corroded the wire inside the insulation.
