perryton, tx | Still assessing damage from the May 20 hail storm. Lots of broken over but still intact stems...I'm wondering if a head at the end of a kinked stem can still fill properly? Looking at it, some the entire head is white, some have a small kernel, and some have a fat normal looking kernel. That's making it tough to get a handle on how bad the damage really is.
