I’m old, retired, rent out the farm.
I know that a continuous cash price chart and a continuous board price chart don’t always track each other. Basis can do a lot of heavy lifting. Between now and harvest, in my past, without a penny increase in board price I’ve seen cash corn $2.50 a bu higher than it is today because of a +$2.50 increase in basis here in se Iowa. So what’s your plan. Fill your bins or risk basis doing all the heavy lifting and the board not following along.
