Can't you do that with the version that you buy (well, all except the storing in the cloud part)?
I can do inventory on my (purchased) version, but don't need that module. IIRC, it was less than $200, and will work until I upgrade operating systems past the supporting version. Last one I had was used on Win 95 and XP. Had to get new QB version when I went to Win 7.
Basically, all I use is G/L module.
