Subject: RE: Commercial Sweet Corn Nitrogen Program

Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio
My cousins used to grow a lot of sweet corn. They side dressed it about three times during the growing season. Not sure how much actual N was applied. But I also know from growing in the garden that more nitrogen means more sugar. Sooo..... my scientific guess would be no it doesn't use less or get less applied.
