South Central Iowa | I could see how it would be simplified to that. 20th week would be the 3rd week of May and yield doesn’t start to drag until after that.
Soybeans are weird and an individual field can do fine. In the aggregate though, they drag in June. I think it will come to reflect that. My biggest concern on Soy is farmers willingness to plant them late and ending up with little or no PP on them. We need to idle 5 million acres at least. A 5 bpa yield drop is still just 400mb, 5 ma would add another 200-250, then we are getting back down to a sub 10% stocks:use. | |
