| We did it a lot way back when. Called it walking a tractor out. Because you literally walked it out. Chain a post onto each tire. Lock the diff and raise it out slowly, throw some rocks in, rechain, walk it forward again until you get to dry ground. Poor people have poor ways. Different time, different place. Didn't have all the equipment resources we have now days. I'd never even heard of excavator. No one had a winch truck. Now days it's too easy to grab the cell phone and have right equipment there in an hour. No need to take the risk. | |
