Probably, but ni way I would do it. Just to hard to keep them in place for years .

Use a pipe, weld 5/8 rod sticking out the ends to go in holes drilled in post. Go to gather fast and stay put, even if one if the post gives up. Nake one of the rids ling enough to go all the way through the post, for the brace wire ti go over, so it will never slip down.

Tried using a wood post with holes drilled in end for rod , but not worth doing.
