Dad has no-tilled some acres since 1978 and with the exception of Smart-Tilling out cow trails, leveling tile lines, and the mess a firewood guy left us this winter, we've been 100% no-till since 2003, and I fail to remember him/us not getting a crop and paying the bills. If you just "stop tilling" and don't adjust your management, then you may get less yield and likely less net income.
