Chaffee, Western New York | The "Mini" is NY legal, the AR is not, due to the stock "pistol grip" or absence there of. The mini has gotten better but it takes a fair bit of work to keep the stock and action together 'just so' to maintain accuracy. A little research and you will find where there was a serial number break before which chances are hit and miss on getting a good one and then they get better but not perfect. Magazines cost a LOT more$ for the mini and some Mini's just do NOT like some magazines. The Mini costs a Lot more and you have no option of just getting a different Upper and getting 300blackout, 6.5Grendel, 7.62*39, 300Hammer, 22Val.....
556 Nato is hotter than .223win. 7.62 Nato slightly less than 308win.
