Tubing that long will likely rough up his throat. I would stop. Skip a feeding or 2, and make sure you keep the water out. Then head lock him and keep pumping that bottle on him. Some times it takes a couple days. You can force feed him 1/2 a bottle with the headlock, it just isn't fun.

Personally I would give him a shot of Dex and vitamin B shot.


Keep fresh water and really good creep feed in front of him with a slab of really good grass hay. I had one sale barn calf that I could never break, but I penned him separate and with good feed he did about as well as the others.
