60-80 days to flower when we used to plant it. Most years we never turned a wheel on milo till now. Let the weeds come. Burn them down with round up and notill into it. A neighbor when I was a kid did a similar program but with tillage. Always started around my birthday 12th of june. So easy date to remember for me. Might be an option this year again. Not sure where to find the seed as we haven't planted any for 5 years or longer and it was hard to source then up here. And with all the late planting it will be time to switch to milo if you need some grain for cattle. Last we did, we combined kind of wet and bagged with Brewsters rollermill/bagger. Fed nice to the cattle on a growing ration.
