The latest development land on the edge of town with the proper zoning just closed for $460,000 per acre which is a little down from the block that sold two years ago for 763,000 per acre that was turned into homes last year.
About a decade ago row crop farmland that was in the green belt or along the river was selling for 30,000 per acre, now that’s closer to $40,000 per acre.
Anyone farm in big city limits?
