Subject: Gauge wheel arm pivot bolt

Beresford SD
Have been replacing one per day lately, wondering if the equalizer is the culprit, allows one gauge wheel to travel too far and then it cannot return immediately and the bolt bends. This is just a suspicion I have, curious if anyone else has found out something like this. The one today have nothing to do with mud, in fact most of them do not have mud issues either. I am noticing it happens in fields that have waterways and washouts , so maybe my crossing technique needs to be changed.
