VT is light tillage that just messes up the weeds bad enough to not make chemicals as effective. A fad IMO. If doing tillage you just as well eliminate a pass of chems.
A VT pass in fall then finisher in spring would work good, but I like a good heavy discing in the fall.
Fall tillage stalks. Does just disking help come spring?
