Let's see...two passes at 5 mph with a disc and a field cultivator (any faster and they will bounce and leave a washboard)...
Or one pass at 9 mph with a VT tool designed to move that fast without bouncing around....
...you do the math...but sounds to me like 3X to 4X the time and fuel for the disc and fc.
