Roseglen, North Dakota | I've watched the undercover "abuse" video like others. It's very easy to tell the ones that took the video are hopelessly biased to the point of being stupid. For example, their solution for the abuse is to boycott dairy products. Really?
BUT, there are parts of the video that strike me as abuse, specifically the instances where the calves are thrown around, hit on the head, drug, etc
But branding (assuming that's what it was) is part of life, separating calves from mother's (video of cows bellering cuz they're sad?) wd be considered normal
The video is definitely biased and naive, but wondering what cattlemen/dairy guys on AT think of this whole deal?
